This weekend has been awesome~~ Saturday was the cosplay picnic in laguna niguel and that was cool/awesome/fun! I wore Mikuru from Haruhi Suzumiya and had a blast despite those long sleeves! After the picninc Jenna and I headed over to Mimi's Cafe with Karla and Susan and met a bunch of people and we ended up having some table that was about... 17 people. XD Susan took that picture of Evan and I~ He was in Earthbounder cosplay and I seem to be the only person who didn't actually know that. XD After the gathering Andy, Jenna, Karla and I all went to Diamond Plaza to take purikura and Karla and I had crepes and they were so gooood~ :O I got a few things for school that starts 9/4 and then there were puri~~ We're all so cute :)

Yesterday (Sunday) was bat's day and that was a lot of fun too~ I think that had a helping hand in emptying out California Adventure so I could partake in funtimes there with Andy, Jenna, and Sherrie.A lot of pictures are on his camera though and all I got was that one of Andy and I on the left. It was on Space Mountain and the people behind us were really cool. They'd all just staid up all night last night to do the midnight bike race in san diego and they'd dressed up as a doctor and skimpy nurse. XD I got to go on almost every ride I wanted but I fell asleep instantly when I got into the car and got home without realizing that Andy'd gone to Burger King, or anything else that had gone on for that matter. AND I STILL WOKE  UP AT 8:00. XD Oooh, also at the picnic I got a ditto, so I can start training my evee team! :DDDD *obviously excited*


My room is currently atrocious, so I think I'm going to start on that~ :3

So, what have I been up to the past few months, costume wise? :DD
 For Fanime my new costumes were Juli from Street Fighter, and Hermione from Harry Potter. :)


Then for Anime Expo I wore Juli again, and I also re-introduced Mayama from Honey & Clover. I wore my Haruhi uniform for the first time! And got to play around with Holly and Justine while we were all dressed as schoolgirls, which was fun. Bubba Gumps that night was awesome<3.

And there's more! My 18th birthday was 07-07-07 and I headed off to Disneyland with Andy, Sherrie, David, Daniel, Chris, Moe and Jenn. :D It was a really awesome day and I can't express how fucking great the Banana Fosters desert is. So gooood~

Well, I have about... TODAY to finish getting all my sewing done for AX and I need to hem my Hal jacket (which I cut to short. GREAT) and hem my Haruhi skirt. That white dot is on the mirror, not the skirt.

I need to get the skirt to be ~mid-thigh, maybe higher. I'm just frustrated because I was trying to see where I should try to get the length to be and the first thing my mom says when she sees me is IT'S FINE and it really pisses me off because she doesn't know if it's fine or not. Fucking hell. I can't wear, or work on costumes near her because she really makes me feel like I shouldn't try to look like the characters, or I shouldn't work hard to be more canon-correct. That skirt for Haruhi is WAY too long.
(I'm cosplaying the middle character, btw~) But now I look at it, I need to take more like two inches off of my skirt. I already had the skirt altered to fit my waist better. (Had to, the waist band was ~5 inches too big) and it still won't fit perfectly by AX. XD I really shouldn't be pressuring myself to have this costume done though. =/ This is just feeling stressful after the small conversation I had with my mom about it. I really need someone local that I can sew with, and that I feel wants to have me for sewing company. I really just need to drive. Gyah. Well! I should get started on this, since I'll probably work on the armband once I'm up at Andy's if I'm even going.

My parents are both really stressed out about my graduation party, so I can't really talk to them about anything without being yelled at, even if it isn't me asking for something. I hate when they're both stressed. While I'm stressed too. Just... fuck. I've spent a lot of money on this costume since I ordered it and I'm really pissed that it's still not fitting right. I'm getting the shirt redone right now so that it will be fitted at least which means having almost everything redone but the waist and collar because those were the only things on the costume that fit right so far. I knew this might happen since I ordered the costume overseas, but just the fact that it's still not right is bothering me so much. D;
